Printing Tips
Hot printing

Gold, silver and pastels recommended for an optimal result: Kurz
Pastels: Colorit VB 900 – White: Colorite VB 911 – Black: Colorit VB 912
Gold: Luxor AB 220
Silver: Alufin AB
Pressure: strong
Temperature: 140 – 150 °

it’s better to make a print proof before  going ahead with the project.

Offset printing

Offset printing on canvas does not require different techniques and machinery than those used for other more common substrates. Printing subjects with large and intense backgrounds and high-resolution images requires smooth and uniform surfaces. Slightly more open and structured fabrics are also suitable for subjects with a lower definition degree.
The best results can be achieved with Setalux, which returns high-resolution images while keeping the hand naturalness. Canvas extra R, with its uniform acrylic surface, is optimal. Cialux prints with good results.
Load: keep the load to a minimum
Inks: quick drying; we recommend oxidative inks, but UV inks can also be used
Screen: 70 lines / cm
Bath: pH> 5.5 isopropyl alcohol solution
Drying: Do not use UV or infrared drying
Humidity: ideal relative humidity 55%
Temperature: 20 ° C
Pressure: 10% higher than the standard
Batteries: Low batteries are recommended

We suggest you to make a sample to check that the results meet your needed, so please ask us for a sample to made a mock up.
