MDS “Adopt a researcher”
In 2022 Manifattura del Seveso Spa decided to renew the support a researcher of Fondazione Umberto Veronesi, for one year work.
Through this initiative we wish to make our contribution to medical / scientific progress, for the protection of the health and well-being of people and the society in which we live.
For this reason and in full awareness, we have chosen to support the scientific research of the Umberto Veronesi Foundation by adopting a young researcher. With the project “Adopt a researcher” we support the research activity of one of these young boys who, as we all know, too often tend to emigrate to other countries in order to carry out their study and research activities.
Umberto Veronesi Foundation was founded in 2003 on the initiative of Umberto Veronesi and many other internationally renowned scientists and intellectuals, including 11 Nobel Laureates, with the aim of promoting excellent scientific research and the dissemination of science.
Every year, the Umberto Veronesi Foundation provides research grants to the best doctors and researchers, both Italian and foreign, working throughout Italy in the fields of oncology, cardiology, neuroscience and nutrigenomics.
Funds are awarded through a public tender, according to a logic of merit, impartiality and transparency.
Our idea is that :”to do well we must also do our best to be good”.
